Donuts anyone? Window Card using Sweet Stamp Shop

By Laurel on June 13, 2012

Hi everyone! I am here with today with a Sweet Stamp Shop post along with a how to video! I had so much fun making this card! NOTE: IN THE VIDEO, I MISSPOKE THE TITLE OF THE DIE CUT I USED! NOTE SUPPLIES BELOW!

I decided I wanted to make a window card. I just don’t do these enough! I want to broaden my spectrum and make window cards and different shape cards and cards with different folds….. I’ve got the amazing scor-pal, which will make that super easy! If you have one of those or a Martha Stewart Score Board, it should be pretty easy for you too!

I just HAD to make the donuts glazed, because hello, all good donuts are glazed, so that where glossy accents came in… I decided to use the debossed side for the inside of my card for some added texture! See the twine? That is from our friends at the Timeless Twine. I love their twine I love how they intertwine similar colors. I have never seen anything like it before! The one used here is Strawberry Cupcake (think I said the wrong name in the video)…

Because I debossed the inside of the card, I need to create a panel for the back of the card. I could have left the back embossed, but I decided to make my own patterned paper using the donut and of course, my favorite sentiment from Made By.

I hope you like it! You can watch the video here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD!!!!
