Seriously. One layer cards are something I just can’t seem to do. I have tried before and always get just a very “plain” result. I received my absolutely adorable Lawnfawn Stamps today and had to use Heebie Jeebies right away. The One Layer Challenge challenged us to make an unexpected color themed card. When you think Halloween, you think black and orange. I saw the Off The Wall Challenge had a gorgeous color scheme so I thought, perfect combo!
I made this card in under 5 minutes. I started out with a mini white card base and stamped the Happy Halloween spider web in Versamark and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I scored two lines across the top and stamped the cute little spiders giving the appearance that they were hanging from a web… Lastly, using the “emboss resist” technique, I used some spring rain ink and sponged it entire surface of the card.

I am awesome at one layer cards too! You did a great job with this one- I almost forgot it was only one layer (which is a good thing!). 🙂
