Distress Mania Part 4 – Distress Stains with Distress Inks

By Laurel on October 14, 2011

Welcome to Day 4 of my mini series…. Today is the last day for the week and then I will pick back up with more techniques on Tuesday because tomorrow is the Wee Memories Challenge (yea) and Monday is the Lawnscaping Challenge (yea again)!!!!!!!!

Today’s card features Distress STAINS and Distress Inks… Super fun, right? I wanted to keep the background the showcase of this card……  I distressed a white piece of card stock in two shades of blue and then added Peeled Paint Distress Stain to my Lotus background, squirted with water a few times and stamped! I LOVE the look of this. It is absolutely gorgeous! I finished off the card with a Martha Stewart Butterfly coated in glossy accents and added a  fun heat embossed sentiment from Lawn Fawn.

I was inspired by the Moxie Fab Trigger Tuesday. From the colors to the design on the dress! So gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are enjoying my series on Distress Inks. No idea why I decided to do it but I sure am having fun! 🙂
