Denami Cuddly Critters Blog Hop

By Laurel on September 15, 2010

Welcome to the Denami Design Cuddly Critters Blog Hop!!! Are you being inspired by all the amazing projects? You should have come to my blog by way of Theresa! Todays cards feature the adorable owls stamp set. This set features four of the most adorable little owls I have ever seen. I made several cards in lieu of the hop and I couldn’t decide on which card to post so…. I am just going to post them all… The first card showcases the owls, some fun grid lined paper, Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Glimmer Mist. I didn’t have a good sentiment to go with it so I just made up one of my own by using Lawnfawn’s Harold’s ABCs… Denami does have a few adorable sentiment  that coordinates well with the owls. I just couldn’t get my hands on them in time! You can find them here and here. The layout of this card was inspired by the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

I wanted to brighten things up a bit so I create this mini card. I paper pieced the owls and put them inside some clouds that I die cut with the PTI cloud die.

And last but not least, I wanted to make a shaped card showcasing all four of the owls that came in the set, so I came up with this… I combined the Owls with Hero Arts Friend Definition Cling stamp. I purposely didn’t mask all the owls because I wanted the letters to show thru. I thought it was cute.

I hope you enjoyed the cards. Next up on the hop is Laura! Hope over there and she was she has created! And thanks so much for hopping by!!!
