Cute Dog in his house

By Laurel on February 15, 2011

Happy Tuesday everyone! We had a fun day today. My husband has a night flight today which means he was home during the day today.  After picking Lucas up from school,  we took him to Adventure Landing where we played Laser Tag and rode around in go karts. He had a blast and it was nice just being a kid again! 🙂

I was inspired by this card. As soon as I saw it, I knew instantly I wanted to make something like it… Now Heidi’s is way better than mine, so don’t go judging me here, lol!!!  The “dog house” (pretty swanky dog house, don’t ya think?) was made with my Cosmo Cricket patterned paper (togetherness) and the hill was hand drawn and colored wtih Copics. Then adorable lanterns are from Lawn Fawn’s latest release, Lunar Lights. The adorable dog is from Critter’s in the Burbs and is colored with a combination of Copics and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

I love playing along in challenges. Don’t you? They just inspire me in so many ways…. For this card, I am playing along in a few this time (gasp, I usually stick to one):

Just popping over from Moxie Fab. What a fun card this is! I really like the scene you created with the doggie and his little house. The lanterns are a very fun touch. And is that embossing around the edge? Really like how that looks.
