CPS 205 using Lawn Fawn’s Lunar Lights

By Laurel on February 13, 2011

Happy Sunday everyone! I am absolutely in LOVE with Lawn Fawn’s latest release, Lunar Lights. I made a CAS card yesterday using the big lanterns so today I wanted to showcase the smaller ones! I was inspired by the sketch over at CPS today, one of my favorite sketch challenge blogs.  I colored two of the lanterns with my Copics and paper pieced the other two. Lanterns shine so I had to add some glossy accents to them. One of the many great things about clear sentiments in you can bend them or in this case, arrange them differently.  I took the sentiment that is horizontal and made it vertical instead so it would fit on my die cut and added two different shades of Tim Holtz distress inks to that…

I am also redeeming myself with my Wee Memories submission from yesterday. If it is gone, don’t be alarmed! I came to my senses and removed it to work on it some more, lol!!! Their challenge is Live, Laugh, Love!

I hope you like it and hope you all had a great weekend! There is still time left to play along in the Lawnscaping Challenge. You’ve got until Wednesday! Free Lawn Fawn stamp set of your choice for some added incentive!
