Copic coloring over Glitter Video

It’s time for another Lawnscaping Challenge and I am loving this one because it MADE me think outside the box! The challenge is to try a new technique… Something I’ve never done before… And believe it or not, I have never tried coloring over glitter! So I gave it a whirl today for the challenge and even filmed a video for you as well walking you thru my process!!!

It’s so sparkly and pretty in real life! And the sushi from this Let’s Roll set is so awesome! And now I want to have sushi for dinner, but I ALWAYS want to have sushi so that is nothing new… I also used the coordinating die to help adhere the sticky adhesive to the images so the glitter will stick!  Speaking of glitter, I love the Glitter Ritz line for this technique because the glitter is super duper fine and when you burnish (rub it with your finger or bone folder), it turns into the velvety texture and it doesn’t flake off, which is HUGE in my book. It annoys me to know end to have glitter falling all over the place! I kept the rest of the card very simple so the colored glitter would really stand out!

Speaking of colored glitter, I used copics! But you can use any good alcohol based markers… And nope, I didn’t damage the tips when I colored over this glitter! I think because this is such good, high quality, super fine glitter! Now this glitter is more expensive than others, and this is why! But I forked out the bucks for just this color because its good for this technique.
