How much color is to much color? How do you use the color wheel to figure out which colors go together and which do not? I learned a lot in the Color Your day class. I even went as far as to purchase a pocket color wheel so I could really start getting in deep with learn about colors. How much color do you need to add? As much as you want! Or as little as you want.
I chose to use the instructors go to color scheme for my card. Grays with a splash of yellow. I inked up the Gradient Stripes stamp set with Altenew Ink. I heat embossed the Mega Succulent stamp set with my favorite silver embossing powder and then blending on some yellow ink and die cut it with a circle die cut…
As a finishing touch I used some Silver Adhesive Foil Paper to die cut the word hello and also used it as my card base! I LOVE that it has adhesive on the back!
And that’s a wrap for today!

Beautiful card! I love the striped background
Very pretty! I struggle with adhesive -backed foil paper on my cards as words. Usually the paper is quite thin and when placed over embossing is bumpy, not the look I wanted. Do you think adhering to a cardstock first would give me that “regal” look I’m going for?
How fabulous! Love the yellow and grey! The foiling does add so much, too! Thanks so much for entering your beautiful work in Altenew AECP assignment Gallery. Beautiful colors and design. Well done!
