Color Cue/Repeat Impressions using Lawnfawn

Hello blog world! I have been MIA lately because the cards that I made this week were introduced to the garbage can! I tried my hand at masking, using Stampin’ Up heat and stick powder and more masking only to turn into a complete and utter failure! HA! Today, I wanted to participate in Dawn’s Color Cue Challenge and the Repeat Impressions sketch challenge. I used my Sew Lovely stamp set from Lawnfawn for this card. I just received the October Afternoon Fly A Kite paper set and couldn’t wait to use it. I used some DMC floss and wrapped it around the spool and then cut the needle out, threaded a piece of floss thru it and stuck it into the spool. I am soooo not a sewer so this was fun for me. Confession. I had to look up what the spool was called because I had no idea! HA!

Summer is here and this is the first week where my son didn’t have to be anywhere at 9AM! Can I just tell you I have enjoyed sleeping in?!? I usually can NOT sleep in no matter how hard I try. Up by 7 no matter what. But not this week!!!!! WOO HOO!
