Oh, I am so excited!!! Tickled! Over the moon!!!! This week, I will be collaborating with the fabulously talented, not to mention dear friend, Nette Kauffman! I have been honored to have known Nette for quite some time now! I serve along side her on the Lawnscaping Design team and she also serves on the Lawn Fawn Design team. So it is no wonder that we have chosen to use Lawn Fawn stamps for our collaboration week!!!
Today’s collaboration is fun! We decided to CASE each other!!! I adore all of her cards, so it was hard for me to choose one, but I managed to choose this one by Nette.
As soon as I saw her reindeer and the trees, I knew that was the one!!! Now, she hasn’t seen my creation or inspired card and I haven’t seen hers so this is going to be super fun for us too!!!! Here is what I created inspired by her fabulous card!
I used lots of goodies from my recent Simon Says Stamp order! Isn’t that patterned paper yummy? Yup, that’s my new Echo Park paper… I colored my trees with distress inks and then splashed some perfect pearls over the top! I colored the critters with Copics and used the yummy Picket Fence Stickles for the snow on the snow banks (as seen in my first haul video) and the sled. I just had to add a jingle bell, I just HAD TO! Here’s a close up.
I seriously had a BLAST making this card. I decided to leave this one sentiment free for the time being…. I am also submitting this to the Lily Pads Texture Challenge! Tomorrow, we’ll be back for another collab with another theme! So fun! Thanks Nette for doing this with me! 🙂
Love it! The pattern paper in the background is fabulous! Also, I love the perfect pearls on the tress, looks snowy!!! Love the stickles, love the twine, the bell, and you did a great job coloring, I especially love the white dots on the deer’s rump! (hehe) It’s perfect!
This card is so fabulous! Love how you brought all the elements together. The patterned paper works so well on this. The jingle bell on the reindeer is a great idea! It looks like the deer and the bunny are having a great time together!
Oh wow Laurel! What a SUPERBLY CUTE card! Love how you have the reindeer pulling the bunny! This is really totally adorable! Stunning colours, beautiful papers and gorgeous inking!
This is so so ADORABLE Laurel. Love the perfect pearl drops and your pattern paper, bell…actually all the tiny details. TFS
This is great Laurel, are you taking on other participants for later on in the year?? Love your design, and how it is similar yet so different from Lynnette’s. The scene is great and the patterned paper in the background takes on a special touch.
Really, really cute! I just ordered a bunch of Lawn Fawn from SSS….can’t wait to get it now – what inspiration! I love the Picket Fence Stickles too…
Wowza! Both cards are amazing! Your trees with the spray over them made me drool! Lol! Love them! And of course that jingle bell is darling!! Love it, it doesn’t need a sentiment at all! 🙂
That is so wonderful, Laurel! Love the twine, the bell and the shiny scarf =) TFS!
I LOVE THIS!!! Your trees are to die for!!!!! Ok, going to link up & fill a Simon cart now – using your link-a-roo 😉
I love Lynette’s card and I love your card too! What a fabulous work, each detail is perfect, the jingle bell is super cute! And your coloring is amazing. This is one of my favorites, Laurel!

Oh my goodness, I LOVE your card!! Your inspiration is pretty spiffy too! Your trees are just so wonderful with the pearly shine and your details on the reindeer and the sled make this sweet little scene so special! Thanks so much for sharing this at Lily Pad Cards!
Both these cards are just as darling as can be.
