So, did you see this post by Jennifer? BRILLIANT how she altered the stamp from this Halloween set! Mummy dog turned Christmas Lights dog…. So brilliant, I had to try it out! It’s not perfect, and I am definitely not skilled with a pen, but that’s ok… I tried to change it up a little by adding some googly eyes and hand drawing in some lights on the ground near the dogs feet! I colored the dog like our dog, Sadie. I was just so darn excited to try it out her technique and I think the recipient will love it. Now hers is way better so be sure to check out her post. The sentiment is from this Subway style set by My Favorite Things! I heat embossed in black and the chevron is actually washi tape! 🙂 The background is a soft watercolored wash using distress ink. Thanks Jennifer for the inspiration.
