Christmas in July! I love it! If you’ve visited the CLASSroom any this week, then you will have left feeling mighty inspired and in the Christmas spirit! I thought I’d jump in on that band wagon and create a couple of Christmas cards inspired by the current Pin-Sights Challenge! I used the same stamp set for both cards!
I’d love to stroll thru street where those colorful houses reside! I used Copics to color all those little houses and while this stamp set does come with the coordinating die, I fussy cut out each house (I have no idea why, lol). I created the background with distress oxides! The oxides leave more of a chalky finish in comparison to the distress inks. I also flicked on some water with my hands to create the water droplets.
For my second card, I made a card with both my kids in mind! 🙂 I used the same color distress oxides ink, copics for the coloring. I look at this card, and my heart is full because of how much love I have for my children. They are my entire world! I love this stamp set so much!
I hope you will pop over to the Pin-Sights challenge, check out inspiration photo and guest projects and then play along! I randomly select one participant to win a $50 shopping spree to the online store! So get crafty and play along with us!!!
Thanks so much for spending some time with me today! I’ll see you again soon! 🙂 🙂 🙂
