Happy hump day everyone! I am loving making Christmas cards this year. Last year, I was not! Maybe it is the cute stamps, maybe it is because I feel like I have grown a bit with my card making. Or maybe it is because I didn’t wait to the last minute to start creating them. Yea, that is probably it!
I made this card for the Color Throwdown Challenge and Copic Creation’s Colorless Blender Challenge. I couldn’t pass up the adorable color scheme, which makes for a perfect Christmas card. (How fun would it be to stretch my imagination and come up with a NON-HOLIDAY card using those colors, hmmmmm).
I am always trying to find ways to practice using Copics since I have never taken a class and am thrilled that I stumbled upon Copic Creation’s blog. I used my colorless blender to create polka dots on the Santa Note and then used it a little bit on the fireplace and background behind the fire. I thought the card could use some shine so I applied some Glossy Accents to the fire and Christmas lights! Thanks for stopping by!
