A friend of mine was down in the dumps due to life’s challenges thrown her way, so I made her this card to cheer her up. What do you guys think?
Someone on the Papertrey Ink forum was kind enough to lead me to this online tutorial that showed me how to take my scalloped circle punches and turn them into flowers! I didn’t want to have to spend a bunch of $$ on more punches (you’re welcome dear husband), so I am glad I was able to use what I had to make the flowers! I distressed the edges with pure poppy ink!
I used the scorpal to make the background.
Stamps: Papertrey Ink Scattered Showers
Paper: Spring Moss Bitty Dots Paper, red and yellow card stock
Ink: Papertrey Ink Jardin Moss, Pure Poppy, Burnt Sienna
Other: Embosser, Red Embossing Powder, Scorpal

I love it Laurel. Great job! The flowers are great and the embossed lines are a nice added touch!
Great job! The flower turned out so nice! I love the colors you used!
