Fruity Cards Several Ways

In light of what is happening world wide, how about a little fruity action to spread some happiness! I have several cards to share with you using goodies from the just released Catherine Pooler Forever 13 collection! You also can get a free stamp set with your order! Just click HERE for the details!

So this card features two stamps! The background was made using the Fresh Squeezed Background stamp.  I painted on a few metallic colors of paint I had in my stash, spritzed the stamp with water and stamped onto some black cardstock. That loose watercolor look is awesome.

Then I continued on with watercoloring the lemon bundle from the  Zest Bundle stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating die. I especially love this die because it cuts all the holes in between the leaves and branches. I stamped and die cut the same image in Vellum as well!

Here is a close up look at that gorgeous background stamp! Watercolored again with the metallic watercolors. Note the black cardstock is not watercolored cardstock so these watercolors work great with regular card stock.

So very pretty.

Let’s talk about this amazing Petal Connection coverplate die. I die cut it onto black cardstock and adhered it to some gold mirror cardstock.

Here is a close up…..

Same coverplate background – just left some of the little circles in place instead of poking them out.

I added a glaze to the lemons but you can’t tell on camera…. Imagine then very glossy! Courtesy of Tonic’s Crystal Glaze

So, what do you think? Do you like one card the best? Any product in this release that just speaks to you? Let me know in the comments!

Two very different floral cards is happening today Yep!  Before I get on to my projects, I wanted to welcome you to the FOR THE LOVE OF FLOWERS BLOG HOP! Also, for the next 24 hours, you can save 15% on ALL stamp & Die bundles by clicking HERE!

Here is a look at the first card I made using the Wallpaper Art stamp set and coordinating dies.

Let’s start with the colorful florals against that black background. Nom Nom!!! I am using the brand new artist Altenew Watercolors. I love the color variety in this 24 pan set. I colored the large florals, die cut them and the foliage that I heat embossed in black and adhered it to a card base.

And look closely. I added some score lines to the black card base for a little extra extra.

Next up, I created a card using the Peaceful Reverie stamp set and coordinating die. I added a wash of watercolor to the background and then adhered the florals with some foam dimension!

I like the dots layer….

Next up on the hop is Teri Stokes!!
