**Video Tutorial / How to use WATER on your projects: 6 Ways

Today’s projects and video is all about how to use water in your projects….. Adding to water to specific mediums (inks, gelatos, paint) can really elevate your projects AND stretch out your mediums and use them in different ways. Heck, you paid money for them… Why not find more ways to use them…….. Click below to watch the video!!!

Here is a look at the projects I created in the video. Some I turned into cards. Other’s I left blank intentionally and will put them in my background binder… It’s not really a binder, but I had to call it something. It doesn’t flow as good as magic mug…. Anywho, the background binder will hold all the backgrounds I made and can easily turn into cards when the occasion strikes!

*Video: Gelatos Art Canvas inspired by Thrift Store Find

My 17 year old niece if a thrifter. She goes to thrift stores and finds some amazing things. I think she is addicted to thrifting. She showed me these pair of heels she bought and I laughed. For a few reasons. One, they are wild! Like for real. Second, she is a complete klutz so her walking around in heels? HAHAHAH! Cue the ambulance….🤪

BUT!!!!  What I also did see in these crazy heels are Gelatos! Yup!  So I made a canvas inspired by her shoes! Check out the video below to see it come to life.

This and that: Free Gelatos Technique Class

I started a little “this and that’ series on the blog. When I see something that I think you might like, like today’s post regarding a free class all about Gelatos, I’ll post it. It won’t have anything directly to do with me, my teachings or my projects.  So it will be a little of this and a little of that… 🙂

I love the Design Memory Craft gelatos. I discovered them a few years ago, fell in love, did some guest designing for them and created an entire video playlist on my own youtube channel. There are so delicious, and completely calorie free, he he he. Interested? Here is a free class I found for you to check out! Click HERE to check it out.

Gelatos are:

  • Creamy, pigmented sticks that are water soluble, lightfast, and permanent.
  • You can blend with or without water.
  • They are ideal for papers, smooth or textured surfaces, canvas, crafting fabrics and ribbon, journal boards. and wood. Compact acid-free pigment sticks glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage.
  • They come in little “chapstick” like tubes!

Here is a link to my Gelatos playlist in case you want to check that out as well!

So there you! A little of this and that!
