Cards for Kids #1 – Why are fish so smart?!?

By Laurel on July 23, 2010

This is the first card I did for the Cards For Kids Card Drive. I found out about it because Lawnfawn is doing a blog hop in August for Cards for Kids and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to participate. I have never really made a random card for a child before. It has always been for a birthday, so I knew this would challenge me so I wanted to get some practice in before the blog hop. More practice means more cards for these precious children. This card is for sweet little Braden. I knew the first card I wanted to make should be for a 4 year old boy because that is how old my son is.  I hope I do this card drive justice because this is such an important card drive for some amazing children. My handwriting is HORRID! Absolutely HORRID, I know. Hopefully the card will still brighten little Braden’s day. The color palette was inspired by SPCC!

Check it out on Jennifer’s blog and feel free to hop over to Lawnfawn’s blog and sign up to participate in the blog hop.
