This week, I participated in the CardPatterns Sketch Challenge. And another Christmas card, what a surprise! HA. I just counted how many I have done so far. 12! What? Only 12? Seems like more. I am trying to do each one different so that is probably why it is taking so long….. 🙂 Not sure how much longer I can keep that up! I love the sketch challenge. I am not one for angling my decorative paper so this was a stretch for me. I had some cute Merry Christmas DP that I thought would be perfect for this card. I love that little Gingerbread. I just picked up some Liquid Applique and had such fun stamping and making a sheet full of these gingerbread men. Made me hungry, though! Used the snowflakes cuttlebug embossing folder and did something a little different with my ribbon. Not sure if I like it though. Do you?!? (Click each picture to enlarge)….
On a side note, my poor little guy is sick. High fever two nights in a row so we are doctor bound today I hope…. I hate seeing my son sick. Wish I could just it away from him. Funny how when you become a parent, you become completely selfless when it comes to your child…
Cuteness! You did a great job with this sketch, Laurel. Love how you went outside your comfort zone….
Hope the little guy feels better. When my brother was sick last week, I wished so badly I could be sick for him. Seeing them so helpless and down is so sad!
Delicious!! That little gingerbread guy is making me hungry. Hope your little one is well soon.
