Okay, for the first time in my life EVER I got up at 5:30 to be at Target at 6:00. They had a tricycle I wanted to get my son. There were at least 200 people in line to get in.
As I approached the entrance, the doors opened and everyone was fighting to get in the door. I simply walked in the exit door with no problem. I started the trend. Go me!! Anyway, the reason I even was dumb enough to go that early because the trike was was a great deal and I knew it would go fast and they didn’t offer the deal online.
All the women were crammed in the toys section and all the men were in the electronics section. Bottom line, I ended up walking out of the store with some diapers and play-doh. Trike was gone. They probably online had 10 to begin with.
I ended up paying full price at Walmart.com. Whatever.
Turns out my parents went to Target two days after the sale and picked up the trike for my son at the sale price. As I mentioned earlier, I bought it online at Walmart for full price. So now I get to go and return it. Message received! Shopping on Black Friday is a complete and utter waste of time!
