Today’s card was inspired by the current Lily Pads color challenge.
And the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge – Show a Tim Holtz Technique! I HEART Simon Says Stamp!
I really wanted to make a “beach scene” type card because it is so blasted hot here in Florida, the only breeze that can be found is at the beach……. I used A LOT of Lawn Fawn and Tim Holtz Distress Inks on this card. A lot! Supply list is at the end of this post. All items can be purchased from Simon Says Stamp!
It’s funny because I made this card and then saw this FABULOUS video by Britta! I didn’t use the water, but crinkled the paper and used the distress inks like she did in her video. Make sure to check it out…. And see the “sand”?
Love it. Jenny Suchin made a quick video tutorial on how to do this. All of the images were colored with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
