BAAAA! BAAAA!!!!

By Laurel on January 7, 2010

First of all, can I just say that I LOVE flocking powder. I don’t know why I didn’t know about this product before. I stumbled across it in Michael’s the other day and I knew I had seen it in some project but couldn’t put my hands on what it was or how it was used. I just remember thinking, “that’s cool” – So, I bought it and finally used it today on this adorable little sheep from PTI’s My Punny Valentine Set.  Inspired by Dawn’s Color Challenge and Mojo’s Sketch Challenge, I came up with this card. I inked up an embossing folder in Aqua Mist and distressed some paper using Distress Ink in tea dye for some added texture. And of course, my best friend, the CTMY edge distresser!

Now, off to force myself to turn on my Wii and do the Wii Active program I have put it off all day. They have forward lunges, backwards lunges, alternative lunges! I will NOT be able to walk tomorrow….

Hey Laurel! Happy New Year! Loving your take on the RSCC – I’m a huge fan of flock too (came in handy for snow on my Christmas cards ;D)
Thanks for the sweet comments on my card – I didn’t outline my sofa with a Copic if you’re interested, I created the sofa on a separate piece of cardstock and stuck it on (that’s why it creates that kinda shadow!)
    HTH!

Cute fluffy sheep. Way to rock Dawn’s color challenge.

    It’s a good life!
