Ok, so those of you who know me, or even those of you who don’t but probably will gather after reading a few blog entries, I am a pretty cheap person. I like things and I like to shop, but I don’t like to pay full price for anything. I was trying to think of what I can do for an end of the year teacher gift that won’t break the bank, but that will be thoughtful and appreciated. Another mom in the class though about putting together a photo album. Great idea!! We asked for pictures of each child in the class and we went thru out pictures and found memories from all the fun events from the school year and compiled them into a photo album for both teachers… So, the cost for this paticular project was under $20 for both albums! I found the albums at Target for $2 a piece. I used my stamps and inks from Papertreyink to embellish the project, and voila! I hope the teacher’s like it and i hope they will always look at the album and remember the fun, fun times they had at Parkwood. Unfortunately, both teachers will not be returning to Parkwood as I understand due to personal reasons at home. They will be deeply missed. However, my dear friend and crafting mentor Beth will be taking on that post! Parkwood is lucky to have her, just as I am lucky to have her as my friend…. Don’t worry Beth. I won’t ask you for help when I make YOUR teacher’s appreciation gift next year, ha ha!
