Altenew Stencil/Ink Spray/Washi Tape Release Blog Hop

By Laurel on March 7, 2018March 8, 2018

Super wide washi tapes, Ink sprays and stencils! Heck yea! That’s what we have in store for you for the Altenew March Release! You should have arrived from Therese Calvird blog! I have a few projects today. A DIY chair and some easy to make cards. I also have some projects and a video using the new stencils and sprays from this release, but I will post those next week. Didn’t want to overload you today!

I decided to redo one of my office chairs and using the washi tape???? Easy peasy and I got an entire new look. I used the Floral Flurries and Dotted Washi tapes.  This is what it looks like now!!!!

This is what it looked like before (snoooooze):

Now I just love my desk!! I trimmed the excess washi tape off with an X-acto knife.

I also created a few cards using the washi tapes as the background…. Do you know how many beautiful cards you can create using this washi tape? It covers the entire standard card base….. It does not get any easier than that! And the designs are stunning. These cards look like I hand painted that background. Shhh. Don’t tell the recipients I didn’t. 🙂

I never would have thought to use the washi on furniture! That is so fun, and I love how it turned out. (And I’m with you: give me all the washi that makes it look like I’m a master watercolorist in 5 minutes or less!) Thanks for sharing such a different project; this was really fun to see on instagram and now here.
