Two very different floral cards is happening today Yep! Before I get on to my projects, I wanted to welcome you to the FOR THE LOVE OF FLOWERS BLOG HOP! I hope you have arrived from Vicki Finger!! Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 3 lucky winners! More on that in a bit! Also, for the next 24 hours, you can save 15% on ALL stamp & Die bundles by clicking HERE!
Here is a look at the first card I made using the Wallpaper Art stamp set and coordinating dies.
Let’s start with the colorful florals against that black background. Nom Nom!!! I am using the brand new artist Altenew Watercolors. I love the color variety in this 24 pan set. I colored the large florals, die cut them and the foliage that I heat embossed in black and adhered it to a card base.
And look closely. I added some score lines to the black card base for a little extra extra.
Next up, I created a card using the Peaceful Reverie stamp set and coordinating die. I added a wash of watercolor to the background and then adhered the florals with some foam dimension!
I like the dots layer….
Next up on the hop is Teri Stokes!!
