Altenew Crafty Friends Blog Hop: Various ways to use Die Cuts

By Laurel on October 17, 2017November 7, 2017

Welcome to the Altenew Crafty Friends Blog Hop! There are TONS of ways to win prizes so keep on reading!  If you get lost along the way, please head to the Altenew blog! You should have arrived here from Lilith Eeckels‘s blog!

I am using the Altenew Leafy Wreath Die for my  cards today!!! I watercolored some cardstock with Altenew Ink Cubes and then ran the leafy die thru my die cutting machine. I paired the wreath with a sentiment from the Super Script Stamp set.

For my next card, I tinted some embossing paste with the Altenew inks, ran it thru a stencil, die cut it and adhered it to a woodgrain card panel. I adore the Label Love stamp set. I use it often.

A close up look of that tinted embossing paste design.

For my next card, I watercolored a card panel, ran the wreath die thru my die cutting machine and adhered both the negative and positive panels.

I adhered the die cut flat and adhere the negative space with foam dimension. The sentiment is from the Goals  mini stamp set.

I did some dry embossing on my next card. I ran the Stone Wall stencil thru my die cutting machine using the embossing mats and inked it up with some Altenew inks. Then I did the same with the leafy wreath die thru my machine using the same embossing mats. The sentiment is from the My Family mini stamp set.

Next up on the hop is Chameleon Pens!!!!!!

Check out all the ways you can win!!!

Hello My Crafty Friend ~ I love the many ways you’ve used this beautiful wreath die. Your cards are clean, simple and creatively done. I absolutely love them. As a “crafty friend” I have to say that through your cards and videos I have learned so much and have tried many (MANY!) techniques that I likely wouldn’t have tried without your encouragement….or friendly shove (like the HUGE Gelato collection I now own, thank you very much!! LOL). And laughter. You’ve shared so much laughter with me (hiding from your daughter in the closet to do voice-overs, buahahahaha!!!). Through my treatments for skin cancer, the unexpected death of my brother this year, and the joy and craziness of planning my son’s wedding, you are one of the crafty friends I constantly turned to to escape. Thank you for sharing yourself, your creations and so much joy and laughter. You mean more to me than you’ll probably ever know. ~BIG HUGS~
