Today I have two cards to share using products from the latest Ellen Hutson release. I’m also participating in a blog hop so if you get lost along the way, head back to the CLASSroom for the full line up. My first card is my favorite and it uses the Abstract Paint Strokes stamp set. I decided to create a flower with the different stroke images using Distress Paint. I inked up the images with the paint, lightly spritzed and stamped! 🙂
I created a border using the little dots (floral center) and the sentiment is from the new Totally Random Sayings stamp set.
My next card features just the Totally Random Sayings stamp set. Oops, my bad. LOLOLOL! I love that.
To draw attention to the sentiment, I inked up the background heavily with distress inks.
Check out the newest release! The last person on the hop is Amy Rysavy!
Oh, such cute cards! Love the backgrounds!
Very sweet cards!!
Laurel, I never imagined a bloom… so glad you showed us how! both fantastic!

A flower using the paint strokes…so thinking outside the box! Very cool!
Thanks for sharing your ideas on making backgrounds!! I have a hard time with backgrounds!!
This is absolutely creative.. love it so much..
Wow. Very inspiring cards today – more art than card. The effect of spraying water on the paint before stamping gives such a different look. I love the colors in the second card. The spiced marmalade on the edge is great. The sentiment looks so cool in black.
Both of the cards are beautiful, the random strokes for the flower are gorgeous. The random saying you picked is one my partner uses when caught nicking a bit of chocolate etc, it made me smile, thank you for sharing x
These are AWESOME.
Great cards…love the sentiments!
Very beautiful and unique cards !
Love the cards. Everything done with distressed ink backgrounds are always beautiful. Yours prove the point. Please enter me in the blog hop contest. Thank you
Oh WoW! Love the flower you made! So creative and pretty! Love that abstract stamp set! Ink blending has got to be my favorite for backgrounds! Love yours!
Your cards are true works of art. Well done! Thanks for sharing.
