A Time To Create Challenge

By Laurel on July 20, 2009

Greetings! This is my first time participating in one of Lauren Meader’s challenges. We were asked to create something inspired by the colors and/or graphics of this sketch.

july-inspiration-6-25

I just LOVE those colors. My house is comprised of yellows, greens and redsl! This is what I came up with. You can’t tell from the photo, but the card itself is embossed with Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder. I am not to fond of the oval punched sentiment at the bottom. Seems to just throw the layout off, but it is what it is so I am going to run with it OR rip it off!!!

DSC_0020Ingredients:

Inks: Papertrey Ink Sunflower, Rasberry Fizz (sponged on sentiment), Reflection Blue

Stamps: Papertrey Ink Vintange Picnic Sentiments

Other:Cuttlebug flowers die and swiss dots embossing folders, Papertrey Ink Vintage Buttons, Oval Scalloped Marvy punch, Ribbon and DP from Michaels

Don’t forget! I am giving away 4 Beautiful Cards magazines here!!! You have until the 26th to leave a comment!
