Hi there everyone! Here is a trio of cards I created a while back using Faber Castell Gelatos. You know how much I love these little guys! I can’t believe I forgot to share these cards when I made them!! All the color on there is Gelatos (except to the outlines of the stamped images)…. And guess what? They are releasing more colors!!!! I’ve seen a sneak of them from CHA2015 pictures!!! ACK, stop the madness!
A few updates/links:
- CHA 2015 is winding down and there have been a ton of new products that have caught my eye! The Lawn Fawn release is available for pre order HERE right now!!!! Follow my Instagram account as I have been posting a lot of stuff there and I’ve been pinning to this board the products I have been able to find online (most are on Instagram thought because they are photos taken by fellow crafters at the show)…
- Tim Holtz/Ranger will be releasing 12 new distress ink colors this year. And here is the fun. It will be one new color per month! Ack! This month is this gorgeous mint green called Cracked Pistachio and you can pre order it right now HERE
- I will be doing a product review video on the MISTI stamping tool soon! I bought it before the holidays. It’s a highly sought after product so I’m glad I got my order in when I did!
- You could win an Bee Creative Marker storage system over at Blitsy!
That’s it for today! BIG PRAYERS please. Tomorrow my daughter goes back to her little church school. Dreading it already. Even thought it is only for a few hours, she is having the hardest time adjusting and it breaks my heart, hence my worry 24 hours before…..
I have been drooling over the MISTI since I first saw it and being impatient I decided to attempt to make something similar and I succeeded! I am so proud of myself and it only cost me around $8 total for all the supplies to make it. Thank goodness I know a silk screener! Having tons of fun using it and am amazed over how easy it makes getting a nice clear, crisp image every single time! Thanks for the CHA updates!
Cute cards Laurel. More distress colors, unbelievable, what other colors can there be.
Barb Macaskill, shame on you, you figured out how to make a Misti and it works and you didnt share, someone is going to hunt you down LOL.
Hey dear, u may already be having ur daughter do this- but if not, it may help her to take a transition object to school with her like her fav soft toy or fav blanket that she loves to keep. It will help her to adjust to the setting. U can also make a song that helps her to understand the transition and sing it to her on the way to school. Hope it helps.
dude, lovin’ that pistachio color!
Your Gelato cards are so pretty! I have a ‘beginner’s set’ of gelatos and I haven’t explored their full potential. A video on how to use them: how I’d love and appreciate that! Your peeks of new goodies…oh my! Wish list expanding! Sending big prayers for you and your daughter! You’re doing the right thing, even thought it’s hard!
Hugs~c
