A Color Hooray

By Laurel on May 13, 2017August 8, 2017

HIP HIP HOORAY! It’s Saturday!!! I’ve got a very colorful Hooray card for you all today!!!!!! I adore the Bravo stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays. It’s hip and happy and just all out rad!  I stamped the large HOORAY sentiment in various ink colors from Catherine Pooler and then added a black sentiment strip across the top.

The trick into lining up the sentiment perfectly (and quickly I might add) is the MISTI Stamping Tool! I swear I could kiss Iliana for inventing this baby! I have both the regular sized and the mini size and my stamping world would be in complete chaos without it! 🙂  I love the detail of the sentiments in this set! All the dots! I am sucker for dots and bright colors, lol! AND, there is a coordinating word die that works well with this set!  Check it out HERE!

You can save 15% off your purchase anytime you shop at CAS-ual Fridays! Say what what? It’s true. Just use code LAUREL2017 at checkout.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Here in the States, tomorrow is Mother’s Day! To see my Mothers Day card set, click HERE! I am so very grateful for my mother! She is the best! Growing up we bickered but at soon as I got thru college and “grew up” she became my best friend. We chat almost daily and I tell her everything. My world would be lost without her! I am so grateful to my husband because he gifted me the best gift of all. Making me a Mom to my two sweet kids. They are my world, my hearts, my everything.

I didn’t want to go before sending big virtual hugs to those who struggle during this holiday. Maybe their mothers have since passed. Maybe they are trying to become mothers themselves and are encountering obstacles.  Maybe they don’t have a close relationship with their mother. For whatever reason, if you are one of those people who have a hard time, please know I am thinking of you and sending you hugs!

LOVE your bright card, Laurel!!! Great job on the stamping, and I like the “hip hip” over the top of all the hoorays! Thank you also for remembering those who struggle on Mother’s Day. Thankfully, I’m not yet in that camp, but I appreciate how you expressed your sentiments anyway. 🙂 ~ Andrea
