This is my second post for the day. Scroll down for my first post featuring Hero Arts, distress inks and glimmer mist!
The title says it all. I wanted to make a card in under 5 minutes this morning. I think someone should start a challenge that requires everyone to make a card in under 5 minutes. Wouldn’t that be fun?!? I overwhelm myself sometimes thinking my crafting is so simple and clean, but sometimes that is a good thing…. And that is just my style…. So I have to just roll with it.
At times, I like to make cards with no sentiment in mind. That way, I will have a selection to choose from when the time comes for a specific themed card and I can just stamp the sentiment later. With this card, I could stamp it on the inside or along the fabric strip or arched along the tire. Possibilities are endless. I used my adorable Practicing Creativity set and stamped the large bicycle image above a strip of fabric tape (Practicing Creativity sells adorable fabric tapes as well as Love My Tapes). I also stamped the basket on fabric tape. I decided to take the tire and spokes images and stamp a pattern along the top and separated it with a scored line. Now I don’t know about you, but I always feel compelled to color outlined images, but this time I refrained and I like the look of it.
Happy World Card Making Day everyone….

So cute Laurel! I’m pretty sure I’d totally fail at a 5 minute card. I’m a slow creator! 🙂
Such a sweet card!!
Love this – simple style – so effective.
Fantastic card Laurel! I love the wheels as a BG stamp! I too often make cards with no sentiment…one always comes along when I need it though *wink*. Love the flowers!
