I am thrilled to be guesting for another day of the 25 days of Christmas Tags event hosted by Tracey McNeely. I am here today representing Ellen Hutson! I love this event she hosts every year because there is a TON of tag inspiration! I recycle my tags from each year. I am the crazy person that hovers while they open their presents and snatches the tag back, he he he he he! Today is day 23 of the 25 day tag event! Each day, there is a new company being represented so be sure to check all the days of the events out if you haven’t already.
So I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Twelve Days stamp set designed by my dear friend Julie Ebersole. Its fantastic and funny! (She alreased a companion set with fun sentiments that can be used throughout the year). I die cut a bunch of hearts from the Folk Heart die set and turned them into tags by stamping all of the 12 days on each tag, coloring them in with Copics and distress inks, punching a hole and adding some twine! I’ve got some close up of the tags pictured below. Some tags have glossy accents, some have glitter… I simplified the process, but you could do so much more to each of these tags if you wanted too!!!
I had a lot of fun making these tags! Now I just need to start the process of Christmas shopping so I have something to put them on, lol!!! I hope you will check out the event over on Tracey’s blog!

What darling tags. That would really dress up a present and make it just it more fun to receive. The little images are so darn cute.
Love the heart shape and your blended backgrounds-thanks for sharing!!
Hi Laurel ~ Love the heart-shaped gift tags….they’re such fun. Your coloring and blending are gorgeous and anyone would be happy to hang these on their tree after opening their gift. So nicely done.

Love the heart shape tags, super cute and your color blending is awesome! Love that you recycle the tags: I’m going to start doing that too, now that I know I’m not alone in wanting the tags back (if the recipient is just going to throw it away anyway.)
SUPER CUTE tags Laurel!!!
LOVE your heart base and INKY AWESOMENESS – THANK YOU for sharing 🙂
Love how you coloured these tags! Brilliant ?
