A custom stationary and envelope set AND a floral card bursting with color and a VIDEO! That is what I have to share with you today as I am taking part in the Ton’s Spring Release blog hop!!!! The Ton has 18 new stamps for their new Spring 2017 Release! There is also a way to earn three free gifts with your purchase. For more information, head over to The Ton’s blog. All new release products are available now! You should have hopped over to me from Laura Sterckx’s blog! All supplies I used are linked in the supply list and the end of the post.
The Pragmatic Wreath set is amazing. There is so much detail packed into this one stamp set. She provided two different ways to create the wreath and then added lots of layering florals to create a custom look. Before deciding what colors to use for the florals on the wreath, I first checked my envelope stash to see what colored envelopes I had. Then I pulled out all of my inks from The Ton and figured out which colors were a good match. Then I just started stamping away. After all the stamping was completed, I sprinkled a few 5mm dew drops to each wreath.
Envelope time!!!!! I paired the cards with the color coordinated envelope and stamped the images from the Pretty Mail stamp set. I heat embossed the main floral border image (Rose Gold and Silver Pearl) and then highlighted some of the florals by adding some shading with a complimenting Copic color.
Here are a few close ups (I won’t dare show each one because it would take you forever to get thru this post, lol).
For my next card, I went in a different direction. Instead of a lot of white space (which I do love), how about lots of color? I adore the Wildflower Banner stamp set. The banner wrapped inside the floral cluster is brilliant.
I also put together a video for you all. You can watch it here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking HERE. If you enjoy my videos, I’d love a thumbs up or comment. Sometimes I never know if anyone is watching them but me, lol.
I stamped the image with Versamark ink and then sprinkled on Black Glitter Embossing powder from Nuvo and heat set it. I added a little bit of Color Burst powder (Turquoise and Orchid). I finished off this card by adding a few black sequins and a striped border (stamped from the Minor Stripes stamp set).
