There’s something about butterflies in the Spring so why not some sparkly colorful butterflies? Creating this card was super duper easy! All the supplies I used are by Catherine Pooler are linked at the end of this post. Just click and go!
Using the MISTI stamping tool made whipping up this card a breeze. I simply placed my butterflies on the card panel in a layout I liked, picked up the images with my MISTI, and stamped. Some I double stamped. Some I stamped two different colors! (All the inks I used are from Catherine Pooler as well)…..
Then, once I was happy with the colors on the butterfly, I did one final inking using some Versamark ink! Then I sprinkled on some sparkling embossing powder and heat set! Instant glittery butterflies without the mess of the glitter. I love how glitter looks but I don’t use it because of the mess. I find glitter up my nose and all over my clothes if I even LOOK at it, let alone touch it, lolololol. Some finishing touches of some Tsukineko texture spray and some dew drops from The Ton really finished off the card. OH OH OH! See the stripes on the left? That’s from the Yay Stripes stamp set. A staple I tell you. You can go wrong with stripes and dots!
In Connecticut, we have received a massive amount of rain. Which I guess is good. It washed some of this pollen away! I see blooms budding and can’t wait to see my first Connecticut Spring in full bloom!!!! Then I’ll see what kind of landscaping we have here from the previous owners, lololol! I planted my first PEONY and can’t wait to see it bloom. In Florida, it was too hot for peonies so woot woot, something I can grow her, I hope! I’m one for – I’ll plant and water for a week but then you are on your own. If you can’t survive by Mother Nature, then you aren’t good for me, hahahahaha!
Have an awesome day!!!!
