Alexandra Renke has come to Ellen Hutson! The shop is loaded with almost 200 Alexandra Renke items (stamps, dies, stencils galore) and we are celebrating with a blog hop with some of the Ellen Hutson Ambassadors and the Alexandra Renke designers! Mother’s Day is just around the corner so I made 3 Mother’s Day themed cards.
First up, a DIY stencil using the Spring Flowers die (the die cuts are used in my next card)…. I ink blended thru the negative space to create my very own stencil. the sentiment is from the Amazing Women stamp set.
My next cards uses the actual dies from the “DIY stencil” from the card above. I again used the Deckled Edge Square die and the Spring Flowers die. But this time, I used an embossing folder as well. Allow me to introduce you to the Snowfall Embossing Folder.
Again, some ink blending and that fun striped washi tape and TADA! This card is done!
And lastly, a card focusing on the beautiful Mandala stencil. I’m all about using negative spaces from die cutting so I grabbed the Decled Edge negative space and placed it on the center of a white card base. Then I placed the stencil over the top and did some very light handed ink blending. I then traced the outline of the deckled edge with a black marker….
Of course, tied in that striped washi again! LOL!
Gorgeous products! Super high quality. Be sure to check out the other hoppers to see what they have made!!!
